l4d2 need help

i have had l4d2 since it came out. i played with a few of you lately and kept having my comp lock up so that i had to do a hard reboot. i have tried several solution found in steam forums, but nothing is working. no matter if i play offline or online, my comp freezes and i have to hit the reset button. my keyboard and mouse both go dead. i have never had this problem before, and l4d is the only game i am having this issue with.

you try checking for driver updates. or asking steam if there is a solution

Try submitting a ticket with steam support. There usually helpful.

problem was a fan. i got 5 friggin fans, including a 6" on the side of the tower, in this thing and the power supply fan got stuck and caused an overheat. unreal

So it could handle black ops, but not l4d2? Odd, I would have imagined it to be the other way around.

Yeah, L4D2 is a strange game. I had a bad graphic card but could play everything except l4d2. LOL That didn't last long though. Eventually it died all together.
